Why no star ratings?

Many NZ insurance comparison sites publish star ratings (4.5 / 5, 4.7 / 5 etc.) without disclosing where those numbers come from. They're almost always editorial guesses, not aggregated customer reviews, RBNZ ratings, or any verifiable methodology. The FMA's fair-dealing rules discourage unverifiable comparative claims.

Instead, we publish what we can verify: the insurer's current policy wording PDF, extracted into structured facts (Pharmac, ACC, mental health, sublimits, exclusions). Decide for yourself using real cover rules, not opinions.
